Amuninni fora a jucari – 14th Edition of the Street Games Festival

On June 2nd in Castellammare del Golfo, the traditional event dedicated to outdoor play returns, bringing together children and families for a day of games, community, and memory.

On the occasion of Republic Day, Sunday, June 2nd 2025, Castellammare del Golfo hosts the 14th edition of Amuninni fora a jucari, the event dedicated to traditional outdoor games, organized by the “Genitori di Buona Volontà” (Parents of Good Will) Association.

The event will take place along Corso Garibaldi starting at 5:00 PM, and invites children, families, and the entire community to rediscover the joy of playing outdoors, reliving the values of togetherness and simplicity that define traditional games.

The day will conclude at 7:30 PM with Torta in Famiglia (Family Cake), a convivial moment organized by the Società Operaia di Mutuo Soccorso, a historic local organization.

Amuninni fora a jucari is a meaningful opportunity to promote a culture of community participation, enhance local traditions, and encourage intergenerational exchange through play.
