Proposed duration: 4 nights / 5 days
Period: spring and autumn, April/May and October/November Basic location: Trapani (surroundings) - Single rooms or single use - Short trips and group travel
Full board programme (breakfast, lunches and dinners) - Proposed food & wine experiences and cooking classes
Proposed itinerary/programme:
Arrival / First day
- Transfers from airports (possibility of landing in either Trapani or Palermo)
Staggered arrivals in the afternoon at residences around Trapani
- Afternoon: orientation and presentation of experiences, with welcome drink - From around 19.00: transfer to the historic centre of Trapani for a stroll and dinner at a typical restaurant, returning to the hotel at around 23.00
Second day
- From 8.00 am: Wake up and breakfast - From about 10.30 am to 2.30 pm: visit to a typical baglio and relative farm with vegetable garden, cooking workshop dedicated to pasta with Trapanese pesto and lunch at the farm
- From 14.30 to 19.00 approx: Visit to Erice with ascent by coach and descent at sunset by panoramic cable car
- From 19.00 to about 22.00 Typical Sicilian dinner at a family-run Agriturismo
-Return to hotel at about 23.00
Third day
- From 08.00: wake up and breakfast
- From 09.30 to about 11.30: tour of Trapani's fishing port with fishermen and tasting of local fish bruschettas
- From 12.00 to 16.00 approx.: cooking class at the villa in the countryside of a Trapani chef
- From 16.00 to 19.00 approx.: visit to the salt pans of Trapani and Marsala
- From 7.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. approximately: wine tasting and sunset dinner at the winery
- Return to the hotel at about 10.30 p.m.
Fourth day
- From 08.00 am: wake up and breakfast
- From 09.30 to 12.30 approx.: visit to the Segesta Archaeological Park
- From around 13.30 to 15.30: visit to the village of Scopello and the Frederick's Panoramic Park with lunch of cunzato bread and Sicilian street food
- From about 4 to 6 pm: visit to Alcamo winery with bottling experience and wine tasting
- From about 7 pm Final evening at typical Baglio, with a cooking lesson dedicated to Trapanese fresh pasta and dinner to follow
- Return to the hotel at around 11.30 pm
Fifth day / Departure
- Wake up and breakfast
- Room checkout (with the possibility of late checkout for those who request it)
- Transfers to airports
