Tour Program
Day 1 – Arrival in Marsala
Independent arrival at Palermo or Trapani airport and transfer by private Gran Turismo coach to the selected accommodation in Marsala.
After check-in, in the afternoon you will meet Giulia for a welcome cocktail – a relaxed moment to get to know the group and receive an introduction to the journey. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Marsala, Mozia and the Salt Pans
After breakfast, guided tour of Marsala’s historic center, with its baroque churches, elegant squares and traditional shops. During the morning you will also meet a local artisan or producer.
In the afternoon excursion to the Stagnone Nature Reserve, among windmills and salt pans, with a visit to the island of Mozia, an ancient Phoenician settlement. The day ends with a wine tasting in a historic Marsala winery. Return, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Erice and Trapani
Departure for Erice, a charming medieval hilltop village overlooking the sea. Walk through cobbled streets and ancient churches, with a stop at a local pastry shop to taste the famous Ericini pastries.
In the afternoon continue to Trapani for a stroll through the historic center facing the harbor. Return to Marsala along the scenic Salt Road. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Wine Route and Castellammare del Golfo
Excursion along the Wine Route towards the Alcamo area. Visit to a winery with a guided tasting of local wines and products, followed by a lunch featuring regional specialties.
In the afternoon stop in Castellammare del Golfo, a picturesque seaside village with a small harbor and a castle overlooking the sea. Return to Marsala in the evening.
Day 5 – Segesta and Sicilian Cooking Class
Departure for the Segesta Archaeological Park, one of the most impressive sites in Sicily, with its Doric temple set among rolling hills.
Later transfer to Buseto Palizzolo for a convivial experience: a Sicilian cooking class in a rural setting, preparing traditional dishes followed by a shared lunch. Return to Marsala in the afternoon.
Day 6 – Gibellina and Salemi
Day dedicated to the Belìce Valley. First stop in Gibellina, a city symbol of rebirth after the earthquake, today known for its open-air contemporary art installations and architecture.
The journey continues to Salemi, surrounded by gentle hills and farmland, where you will meet local producers and enjoy tastings of regional products. Return to Marsala in the late afternoon.
Day 7 – Free Time
A more relaxed day with free time to enjoy at your own pace. Optional activities may be arranged, such as an excursion in the Stagnone lagoon or an additional winery visit. Alternatively, spend the day exploring Marsala with leisurely walks, shopping or simply relaxing. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 – Departure
Breakfast and check-out. Transfer by Gran Turismo coach to Palermo or Trapani airport for your return journey.
