Torre Salina takes its name from the Saracen watchtower that rises on the cliffs of the Gulf of Macari. The coastline beneath the tower is called Salinella, due to the ancient presence of small salt pans once used for salt production. Though the salt pans are no longer there, the lush vegetation and crystal-clear waters continue to enchant and win the hearts of visitors.
