Mancia E Abballa Fest
On Sunday 4 May 2025, the Municipality of Vita will host the first edition of "Mancia e Abballa Fest", a food and wine festival enthusiastically organized by Associazione Liberty24, promoted by the local Administration and supported by GAL Elimos.
A full day dedicated to authentic flavours, music, folk traditions and entertainment, designed to engage visitors of all ages and interests.
The event aims to enhance the local area and gastronomic culture through a varied programme of tastings, traditional performances, children’s activities, artisanal exhibitions and a charming classic car gathering.
Highlights include the exhibition of the “Pani di San Giuseppe”, sacred bread creations symbolising local votive art, and a cooking show curated by UMAT, featuring the live preparation of a giant cassata cake shaped like Sicily, showcasing the region’s renowned pastry-making expertise.
